The beach is only 5 minutes away... or chill at one of the nine pools that are located in the resort (one of which boasts to be the largest in South Carolina).  Myrtle Beach offers many activities for families with children at any age. Amusement parks, Hard Rock Theme Park, arcades, and much more are within a fifteen minute drive of the resort. For entertainment there are the nearby The Alabama Theater, House of Blues, and Dolly Parton Stampede. There are four golf courses located inside the resort. All of Barefoot's premier golf courses were designed by four of the top golf course designers of the world.

VRBO Review: "We stayed at this condo last week. This was a wonderful place to stay and we had everything that we needed, we will happily rent again. The place was exactly as described and immaculately clean. The owner offered great communication and customer service. The pizzeria/restaurant at the driving range on Barefoot Resort (next to Golf Dimensions) has excellent food! Highly recommend the condo, the resort, the restaurant and of course Barefoot golf courses are some of the best in Myrtle Beach. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed their vacation too, the dog bed in the condo was a very nice touch. Thank you for an excellent place to stay!"
