Dog Parks in Myrtle Beach: Myrtle Beach State Park- see fun for you page Pets are not allowed on the beaches from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM (7 days a week) May 15th thru September 15th. Pets are allowed in most other outdoor areas year round, provided they are kept under physical restraint or on a leash not longer than six feet. Admission is $5.00 for adults. |

Dog Beaches and The Boardwalk at Myrtle Beach: Dog walking on the Beaches and the Boardwalk: From May 1 through Labor Day, dogs are allowed on the beach only before 10:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m. On the boardwalk from May 1 through Labor Day, dogs are allowed only in the mornings, from 5:00 to 10:00 a.m. At all times when dogs are allowed in public, they must be on a leash of seven feet or shorter, and you must pick up and properly dispose of your pet's droppings. However, pets are not allowed on the beaches or Ocean Boulevard between 21st Avenue North to 13th Avenue South of Myrtle Beach at any time. |

Dog Parks in Myrtle Beach: Barc Parc South - see movie page! Barc Parc South, the original leash-free space for pooches, is off Mallard Lake Drive near Grand Park and The Market Common. The park covers 14 acres and includes a large lake. |

Dog Parks in Myrtle Beach: Barc Parc North is adjacent to the Claire Chapin Epps Family YMCA on 62nd Avenue North Extension. It covers 3.3 acres and opened in the fall of 2009. It also offers separate areas for large and small dogs. |
